Eleven filmmakers and a sound artist construct "String Theory", a film far from conventional narration. This film has been done under two single premises: Using the images with total aesthetic and narrative freedom and having the pre-existing and uncheangeable soundtrack as a trigger. The result of this experiment is a film in episodes, an heterogeneous web of new and appropriated images that form unity in multiplicity. Images of Human affected by time passing, it´s relationship with nature, Science and Cosmos.
The Pshysics theory which the film is named after brings a different perspective to the comprehension and perception of our environment. Therefore, the film attempts to find multiple ways for film narrative, production and watching. "String Theory" does not aim at finding a single meaning, but on the contrary, establishes a web of associations that goes far beyond a rational or causal interpretation. Here is were the perception of each viewer finds signals from which it can construct it's own vision.
